In summer, hikers and nature lovers can discover unique high valleys such as the Fermeltal and lush alpine meadows. Original customs such as mountain farming and yodeling are lived and cultivated with passion by the local population. In winter, St. Stephan is the starting point for ski tours to the Albrist or Wistätthorn. There is also direct access to the "Gstaad Mountain Rides" ski area.
